The challenge: boost Api Restauration's image & recruitment tools
Today, Api Restauration is the 4th largest player in the contract catering sector in France. As a mission-driven company, Api Restauration is committed to quality, local catering, and to meeting the environmental challenges of the 21st century. For almost 70 years, Api has been sharing its passion for creative cuisine with its teams throughout France, as well as in Luxembourg, Belgium and Germany.
“We want to focus on our regions and their culture. That's why we're keen to focus on local products on our guests' plates." This regionalization is supported by the Group's organization, made up of local branches with a large degree of decision-making autonomy in order to be actors in their territory, also impacting recruitment strategy and the need for adapted tools.
With more than 1,800 restaurants and 1,000,000 meals served every day, one of Api Restauration's major challenges is obviously to have fully-staffed teams in its different regions. Chefs, cooks, seconds de cuisine, apprentices, coordinators, chef-managers, etc. The profiles required are many, and not always easy to recruit.
To support our growth, we need to promote the advantages of collective catering to potential candidates. We also need to be able to keep a close eye on the applications we receive, to guarantee an optimal candidate career path.

- Attracting potential candidates: the number of visitors to the career site has increased 6-fold! This means a 6-fold increase both in the chances of attracting talent and convincing them to apply.
- Generate interest in Api Restauration: thanks to relevant content and an intuitive design, visitors stay longer on the career site. On average, they stay 7 minutes on the career site (compared with 7 seconds on the previous site)!
- Convert visitors into effective applications: the conversion rate on the new career site is now 30%! 3 out of 10 visitors apply for at least one job offer.
- Offer a fast, fluid candidate path: thanks to optimized application management, recruitment times have been cut to just twenty days!
As a result, not only are candidates happier, but the recruitment team can also offer higher levels of satisfaction to its teams, who fill open positions more quickly. All of which means that Api Restauration's customers are happier as well.
